TUFH National Center of Excellence Program 2025-2026
A Collaboration to Advance Impact, Accreditation, and Leadership
Overview: The purpose of the 2025 National Center of Excellence Program is to support global leaders and their institutions in establishing a TUFH Chapter in their respective countries or regions.
National Center of Excellence Institutional Leaders and Teams will receive support in the following areas:
- Leadership Skills Enhancement: Strengthening leadership skills and competencies for establishing a collaborating center of excellence, which includes:
– Strategy development of a national leadership council across institutions and in partnership with the government;
– Adoption and implementation of social accountability, interprofessional education, and collaborative care principles and standards within their own institution and across multiple institutions within their country;
– Fundraising support to pay the technical tool license fee and to support the local infrastructure. - Advocacy and Policy Leadership: Enhancing advocacy and policy leadership strategy competencies for partnership and collaboration with government and other authorities representing the collective interests of a collaborating center of excellence.
- Guidance and Training: Adoption and implementation of the technical tools provided to each center of excellence, including, but not limited to:
- Indicators in Social Accountability Tool;
- Social Accountability Fellowship;
- Teaching Fellowship; and
- Communities of Practice Publication and Course Curricula to increase the workforce competencies of health practitioners serving the following vulnerable populations: Indigenous/Tribal; Migrants, Refugees and Asylum Seekers; Remote and Rural; Women; Ageing; and Complex Care Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health challenges.
